About Cai:
What major did you graduate with? What do you do for a living?
I graduated with a major in Management and Sustainable Business. I continued at Indiana University and received my Masters in Environmental Sustainability in 2024. I now work as an Assessment Coordinator in the Office of Sustainability at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Do you have a business or job you would like to promote?
Currently working on building up my woodworking business. Nothing set in stone yet!
What was Swim Club for you?
Some of my closest friends in the world were made in Swim Club. IUSC kept me sane and grounded with the stress of classes and homework and was a consistent thing in my schedule that kept me active throughout my college career.
What is your favorite memory from Swim Club?
My last race was in a shark onesie at our COVID Nationals. Another highlight was traveling for meets.

Hannah Drilling

About Hannah:
What major (and/or minor) did you graduate with? What do you do for a living?
I graduated with a BA in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences with minors in psychology and ASL. I’m in my final year of my doctoral degree. I will be an audiologist beginning May 2025!
What was Swim Club for you?
Swim Club was a haven for me and the place that introduced me to the most important people in my life and the loveliest friends I’ve ever had.
What is your favorite memory from Swim Club?
Going from a freshman on the team to assistant coach over the time I spent on campus. The whole journey was one of the best times of my life.

I graduated with a Doctor of Optometry and MBA. I am a Optometrist at Bascom Palmer.
What was Swim Club for you?
It was a highlight of my college career. It is where I made the best friends and memories.
What is your favorite memory from Swim Club?
Attending College Club Swimming National Championships in Georgia or any of the Swim Club socials.

Marketing with minors in Apparel Merchandising and Economics!
What was Swim Club for you?
Swim club allowed me to meet some of my best friends, continue participating in the sport I loved, get great leadership experiences, and become more involved in the IU/Bloomington community!
What is your favorite memory from Swim Club?
I love all memories of swim club, I think it's hard to choose just one. I know everyone says this but it was truly a highlight of my college career. I loved the people I met, the places we traveled to, the officer boards I was on, and so much more!

Do you have a business or job you would like to promote?
I run and own my own small business selling my pottery and teaching classes. I sell my pottery on Etsy at winklerceramics.
What was Swim Club for you?
It was the place I met so many life long friends and got in good workouts during school!
What is your favorite memory from Swim Club?
My favorite memory was when we went to Notre Dame my sophomore year for a swim meet in December. Staying up late at the hotel before the meet playing games is almost better than the meet!

About Olivia:
What major (and/or minor) did you graduate with? What do you do for a living?
I graduated with a BA in Journalism with a concentration in news reporting/editing and a specialization in news writing. I am a breaking news reporter for USA TODAY.
What was Swim Club for you?
Swim Club was a place where I got to further my love of swimming and meet lifelong friends. It gave me a place to go and have fun whenever I needed a break from assignments or studying.
What is your favorite memory from Swim Club?
My freshman year a lot of us made it a tradition to go to Wright food court after practice for a team dinner. After that, we would all go to the library and do homework/study together. I think that is really when I grew close to so many people on the team and I will never forget those fun nights.

Bachelors in Elementary Education, Masters in Educational Leadership. Currently, I'm a 3rd grade teacher.
What was Swim Club for you?
Swim Club became more than just a team for me—it became my second family. It pushed me to take risks, work hard, and grow, all while being surrounded by an incredibly supportive network. I am forever grateful for the lifelong friendships I’ve made along the way!
What is your favorite memory from Swim Club?
Some of my favorite memories come from traveling to swim meets. Not only did we meet new people from different teams, but we also made unforgettable memories together as part of IUSC.

Shayna Plotnik

About Shayna:
What major (and/or minor) did you graduate with?
Vocal Performance with outside field in Jewish Sacred Music.
Do you have a business or job you would like to promote?
I work for the Seattle Voice Lab, a company that specializes in voice training for those who identify as part of the Transgender community. I help my students find their voice while they are on their journey of becoming their true self.
What was Swim Club for you?
Swim Club was an outlet for me to forget about the demands of being a Jacobs student, provided me with friends and memories traveling for meets, and even sparked my love for coaching swim, which I have continued doing part time since graduation. I loved being a part of Swim Club so much!
What is your favorite memory from Swim Club?
My favorite memory was the indoor triathlon that I helped to plan my senior year. It was amazing to see the Bloomington community come together for this event, and it was a blast compete in!
